I definitely agree with this. An additional point is that you should try to have an all round knowledge in case you want to be able to survive in the job market for the next half-century. The world is changing so fast that if you become an expert at something and that job does not exist anymore, let’s say 20 year down the line, you are screwed! Make sure that you are flexible enough and have skills that are easily molded and transferred over.
